CM directed the bankers to pay the amount released by State government under the Pasupu Kumkuma scheme before 15th November. The State government has released Rs. 1,814.82 Cr through which, Rs. 2,000 each will be paid to 86 Lac DWCRA women under Pasupu Kumkuma scheme.
The bankers were also asked to help with the housing project taken up by the State government. As part of the annual credit plan, a target had been set to give loans to a tune of Rs. 1,01,564 Cr under the agricultural sector, out of which Rs. 31,007 Cr has already been released in the first quarter. For MSMEs, the banks released loans to a tune of Rs. 9,715 Cr along with Rs. 47,234 Cr for other sectors.
The bankers said that as per the directions of the Chief Minister, loans to the tune of Rs 2,530.24 Cr were given to 2,52,756 tenant farmers in the first half of the year. The Chief Minister further asked the bankers to extend loans to farmers of horticulture sector as well. Against the annual credit plan of Rs. 1,94,220 Cr, the bankers released loans to the tune of Rs. 89,991 Cr.
