Industries play a key role in the growth of Andhra Pradesh. The Fintech project is one of the initiatives taken up by the government in 2016 which has attracted world-class companies in the last two years. Apart from this, AP has been implementing several IT devices like core data authority developed to maintain digital records and the e-Pragati platform.
AP has also been investing in startups. Being the best in Ease of Doing Business, Andhra Pradesh is making it easier for startups to do business in the State when compared to other States. The aim of creating a startup ecosystem is to encourage entrepreneurship among the youth by roping in existing young entrepreneurs. OYO is a major example.
