Japanese Company THK to establish India’s first facility in Andhra Pradesh

The Chief Minister met a delegation from Japanese company THK, which has signed an MoU with the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board. The $3.6 billion company develops and manufactures Linear Motion Guides for machine tools, automotive and semiconductor industries.

THK will establish its manufacturing unit across 50 acres in Sri City, and invest $200 million (₹1,300 crores). It will invest $50 million (₹330 crores) in its first phase and begin construction by August 2018.

This MoU was signed by Akihiro Teramachi, President and CEO of THK and J. Krishna Kishore, CEO of Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board in the presence of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.
